180one is proud to partner with organizations that work to support and uplift Portland. Throughout the year, we’ll be giving back across the city and sharing about the organizations we work with and our experiences here on The Water Cooler. Follow along to find out when and where you can meet us out in the community!
180one got into the holiday spirit this week by adopting a family through the Christmas Family Adoption Foundation (CFAF), which provides toys, clothing, household essentials and more to families in need in the Portland Metro area.
Founded in 2002 with the “adoption” of one local family, CFAF’s “Adopting Angels” have delivered Christmas cheer to more than 2,500 families. CFAF partners with local agencies and caseworkers to identify and connect with families in need in the area, and volunteers manage donations, shop for gifts, wrap presents and make deliveries (many of which are made by Santa and his elves) in time for Christmas.
While the 180one team had a lot of fun fulfilling the holiday wishes of our selected family, coming together to provide holiday cheer to those in need also serves as a terrific reminder that this is the Season of Giving. CFAF aims to help 500 families this year, so visit their website to learn more about the families who are still available for adoption as well as how you can help this organization year-round.
