Who we are Founded in 2018, Birch Infrastructure PBLLC, develops, structures, owns and operates utility infrastructure to serve mission critical, hyperscale data centers. Birch is the first company focused exclusively on addressing the utility needs of colocation and hyperscale data center providers. The cloud is quickly outgrowing the available capacity of existing infrastructure. To serve multi-hundred MW loads, new infrastructure must be built; however the timeline to develop infrastructure is incompatible with cloud growth rates. To ensure cloud providers have the infrastructure they need, when they need it, Birch develops infrastructure specific to the needs of data centers. By developing sites and addressing the long lead-time items ahead of the customer’s demand signal, Birch provides shovel ready sites with pre-negotiated utility agreements. Birch also ensures availability of renewable energy and water capacity required for the data center’s long-term growth. Birch mitigates regulatory uncertainty by owning the assets and providing long-term fixed price utility contracts Birch develops renewable energy and data center infrastructure projects across the United States. Fortive’s successful separation from Danaher in 2016 gave them a unique opportunity to focus on essential technology businesses driving exciting innovation in field instrumentation, transportation, sensing, product realization, automation and specialty, and franchise distribution. With a background in environmental policy, economics and regulatory compliance management, Alexis balances policy requirements, practical realities, sustainability trends and external expectations to guide the sustainability strategy. From Policy Analyst to Sustainability Engagement Manager, Alexis has held many exciting roles with organizations such as The Environmental Defense Fund, Northrup Grumman and, most recently, Amazon Web Services. 180one was proud to partner with Fortive on this critical new hire and we wish Alexis all the best with her new role!

About the Opportunity In direct support of LTG growth goals the organization has added a new role, Senior Director of Product, reporting directly into the CEO and a participant on the organization’s senior leadership team. In addition to standing up a new internal strategic product function, this position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and leadership of comprehensive product line strategies for targeted industries, including identification of opportunities, market needs, product roadmap, product solutions, market potential and sales potential. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts for opportunity identification, definition, and prioritization. Works with cross-functional colleagues to anticipate and resolve priority challenges Lead the process for updating industry, channel, market data and trends. Develop preliminary budgets (at NPD milestones) for product plans including development resources. Evaluate product recommendation from existing and potential customer for product feasibility. Develop strategies to improve product position domestically and in global markets. Create pricing strategies to support targeted channels. Lead the Voice of Customer and Voice of Channel Partner process. Own the product life cycle and execute exit strategies. Develop and implement processes to assess and develop packaging that satisfies customer needs and corporate packaging strategies. Lead cross functional team(s) to develop channel and key customer promotions. Development of new product budget: including capital expenditures, marketing and sales expenditures required to execute product launch. 180one congratulates Willamette Dental Group on the recent appointment of Steve Dering as their Director of Facilities. Willamette Dental is the largest multi-specialty group dental practice in the Pacific Northwest, with more than 50 office locations in Oregon, Idaho, and Washington. WDG is a family of companies that provides a combination of dental care services, dental insurance, and business management and administrative services in OR, WA and ID. Steve has roughly 20 years of experience in operations and facilities management. He has spent the last 13 or so years as the Director of Facilities for Comcast Cable in Beaverton, Oregon, where he was responsible for real estate transactions, facilities, and fleet management.  180one always enjoys partnering with Willamette Dental, and we are excited for Steve to join the team!

180one congratulates A-dec , the premium leader in the dental equipment design and manufacturing industry, on the appointment of Anthony Woods as the new Vice President of Product Development. In addition to their leadership in the dental industry, A-dec’s family values have attributed to their commitment to the Newberg community, Oregon State University, and its employees through various investments and programs. Anthony brings years of experience and a broad exposure to different industries and technologies with him as he joins the A-dec team. He graduated from the University of Illinois with two engineering degrees and then proceeded to receive his Masters in Management from the Oregon Health and Science University. Over the next 20+ years, he served as Program Manager, Business Development Manager, Senior Director and Business Unit Manager as well as Director of Program Management and Product Development for companies such as RadiSys, Tektronix and Danaher.
