You might think that the stereotypical recruiter is someone who talks, talks, and talks some more. But what makes Matt one of the best is his ability to truly listen to both clients and candidates. He applies this skill in his approach of understanding our clients’ needs and then reconciling those needs to a candidate's capabilities through thoughtful interviewing.


Matt has taken the skills he has accumulated throughout his career in human resources and recruiting for a Fortune 100 company and applies them today on behalf of his clients in leading searches in the clean tech/energy, medical device, and manufacturing industries for companies ranging in size from pre-revenue to $5 billion. He has helped companies hire leaders to stand up new business units, create a corporate sustainability function and bring in a CHRO to help the company scale.


Outside of 180one, Matt can be found on the basketball court coaching his daughters, making a mouth-watering meal in the kitchen with his wife, or finding some alone time with a fly rod in his hand on one of the rivers in the PNW.
