As our technological capabilities are hitting the ground running and video interviews are becoming the new normal amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, 180one wants to help you maintain your professionalism and make the most of the resources to which you currently have access.
When it comes to hiring, we tend to rely on human connection and face-to-face interviews to aid us in the decision making process. But just because we are now required (in most cases) to conduct these interviews over platforms such as Zoom or FaceTime, the integrity and value of these connections do not need to be diminished.
We have put together a quick list of Dos and Don’ts to be aware of when participating in a video interview. While some may seem obvious, it never hurts to double check that you are following these guidelines and do your part in making this virtual transition as seamless as possible.
